The next movie in the Don franchise is upon us this Christmas. Don 2, the sequel to the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Don, which in turn is a retelling – not a remake – of the Amitabh Bachchan movie Don, has some of the characters from the original movie, like Boman Irani’s Inspector D’Souza character.
The direction and camerawork looks first class, and with this one, Farhan Akthar may become the go-to guy when they want to make a stylized movie about crime and grime. Shah Rukh Khan returns to the Don franchise, this time having a meaner, leaner look. He even has three day stubble to prove that he is the Baaad Maan!
Don 2 stars Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, Boman Irani, Om Puri, Kunal Roy Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan in a cameo appearance. You can watch the first trailer promo here:
